Halloween

We had a great Halloween! Thanks to friends and family the costumes were not to hard to find this year! Haleigh was Fear the Beard (Brian Wilson of the SF Giants) Hannah was a vampire, Alexandra was Rapunzel (thanks to Marisa's old costume that grandma made years ago) and JT was the monkey! The girls had fun craving their own pumpins with no help! We even saved the seeds so when dad FINALLY got home he made some great tasting seeds! JT cleaned up with the hose!

Fear the Beard!

Haleigh and Andrew played hookie from school and work on Wednesday to celebrate with The World Champions Giants and the rest of the bay area! Haleigh got so into this playoff season that she dressed up as Brian Wilson for Halloween! She had a great time going to games with Andrew. How spoiled she is! Hopefully she will keep up on her grades!

Boys will be boys!

This is where you can find JT these days. IF there is no toilet paper left this is why. Gross!

Jonas Bros.!!!

So I know you are just dying to know what the Goett's did this weekend! Well let me tell you! The Goett's and the Steve Jones Family went and met the Jonas Bros.!!! And not only did we meet them, Andrew and Makita played in a softball game against them. Makita almost made Nick miss the concert that we also attended that night, because she had such a powerful hit against Kevin and when Nick tried to catch it he fell.  Andrew also gained a number one fan at the concert. She reconized him from the game. Not only did she get him to sign her shirt she got hime to sign his hat! Andrew could not go without getting a pitcure of his #1 fan. She did have one request for him....... Please tell the Jonas Bros. hi from her and her friend. (Andrew remembers her name!)ANd of course in Andrew style he said of course he would. We had such a blast! Thanks to Ainslie for such a great day! More pitcures to follow!

Idaho

Every summer my kids get me in the car and we trek the 10 hours up to visit our awesome cousins in Idaho! It is always so much fun. I think I have the best sister-n-laws on the planet! They are the best hostes and make me feel so welcomed! We are entertained every second that we are there. This is definetly something we look forward to every year! I guess this is now a tradition! Sorry kita and shawnel we are gonna keep on coming! Although you can see that my kids are with Makita most of the time since I can't remember a portion of our trip. My big head bonked into kita and kita won. I experienced my 1st and hopefully only concussion on this beautiful lake that the Smiths( steve and kitas friends) let us stay with them. Alex fell in love with Spencer Smith ( I think she has already forgotten, sorry Spencer) We were able to celebrate my beautiful niece Brynns 5th birthday and just had a great time. Can't wait till next year!

Happy 44th!

Wow, its hard to imagine 44 years (since I am 30 something)! Congratulations Mom and Dad. What a great example the two of you are! I know you aren't perfect but in my eyes you are pretty close. What more can a daughter ask for. You have given me all the tools in life that I need . Thank you for teaching me the important things in life that will help me make it onto the next. You have taught me how to be patient(mostly dad) how to love,to serve, and that somethings don't matter and what really does. I am so grateful my children have been able to spend so many memorable and fun times with you. I love watching dad still be as crazy with the kids as he was with us. I really love watching my brothers do the same with their kids and nieces and nephews. Our family may not be perfect but we sure do have so much fun together. I am so happy that I choose this family and this journey. To  many more years! Love you mom and dad!

After my run Saturday morning I decided to try to get on a plane. My wonderful cousins helped me out with the plane . Andrew rushed me to the airport. My parents picked me up at the airport in Salt Lake and we made it with a few minutes to spare! As you can see my hair looked top noch!LOL! Her is a pitcure with my good looking cousins (Jason, Jamie, CYndy,Curtis, and Sara). JT hung out with some of his second cousins (Fisher and Max they were willing to smile for the camera) And the 30 something's pitcure. HaPpY BiRtHdAy Grandma!

Today my Grandma Anthony is celebrating her 89th birthday with Elvis an some other family members who were able to make it to St.George! Happy Grandma I Love you! Thanks for always sticking up for me when I would walk on Grandpa grass or many other things! It is fun to have a grandma who always tried to stay as young as her grandkids example: skiing, buying bathingsuits that I wouldn't even think of wearing at my age and I think you were about 30 years older than me know! Great times and stories sleeping under the stars! Hope you have a great day! Love you Grandma!   ps there are pitcures of her on previous post when we met for lunch.

Cooling off

So we had a little heat way last week ( almost a 100)  We  had to head towards the coast! It was at least 30 degrees cooler and foggy! For those of you who are thinking that is no big deal....... IT is to me especially when you do not have air conditioning! My husband will not get it for me! He says there are only a few hot days a year. This is when I do agree with global warming! There are more than a couple! SO if you come to visit the Goett family make sure it is not during a heat wave!

Soccer Camp

The girls love to go to Euro soccer camp every summer! ( and it dosen't hurt when they have little crushes on their coaches disco and dent from Scotland) We signed Alex and Hannah up for the following week since Haleigh was at volleyball camp, but were disappointed when their coaches were different! Oh well they are still enjoying it this week but a little less.

what a girl!

Alexandra is trying to earn a star a day so she can turn them in to get a bubble machine ( got it at target for $2.49 hope it works!) and today she asked me what she could do extra to earn one. I said change the laundry for me. Wow was I surprised to see that not only had she taken out the dry clothes and put the wet ones in the drier and the dirty in the washer, she folded the clean towels!!!!! What a girl! I think she is more like her mom than her sisters!

Week at a glance in Southern California

On the 1st of July (my birthday), My dad took us down to Independence Hall for a look at the replica of the Liberty Bell. We had a great time and learn a little more about our country's history. Plus we always have fun with grandpa bob! JT's buddy for the week was my dad! We went to Knott's Berry Farm with the Tsosie kids and grandpa, the log ride was Alex's favorite! The kids learned some line dancing. We drove to Vegas for lunch(really we did) and got to see Aunt Debra and Great Grandma Derelys. This is her new ride! It was so great to she them. This was Jt's first time meeting Grandma. 4 Generations! So glad I got one of these pictures! This picture of Grandma is much better than the one we took when she was in the hospital when Haleigh was one, 10 years ago! Hannah wanted to have her own fourth of July parade and boy as you can see it was a hit!!! Colleen and Lloyd hosted a great 4th at their home and it was so much fun catching up with cousins! Fun times! The kids also went to the beach with aunt Celeste I will do a post of that soon.
