Haleigh's earthquake kit

For science this year Haleigh has to do this Earthquake prepardness kit for her class. Part of it is to put a 72 hour kit together. As she was babysitting for us last night she put this together by grabbing things from my bag by my bed and other places. Notice that we went to costco yesterday and the canned goods are stacked in the pitcure.(Her job was to put them away in the food storage in the garage) Really I don't think olives are that big of a hit in our family but if there was nothing else I guess they would eat them. Good job Haleigh I didn't wven have to help!

happy birthday troy!

Yesterday was my brother Troy's birthday and although this is not a pitcure of him, it reminds me of one that he took in my dad's shoes with his diaper and an orange jacket of my dad's. JT wore these around for the better part of the morning. So that made me think of Troy. Happy Birthday Troy! HOpe you had a great one!

Hannah and Max.

Hannah has a love for her toys especially stuffed animals! I on the other hand think they take up way too much space and are dust collectors! Hannah and her best friend Chloe have this same love and have a on going playdate every Thursday which we love since she is such a great girl! Anyways they switch animals and Hannah will make a journal and give to Chloe so she knows what her animal did that week. Last week we had Max (Ariel from the little mermaid dog) and this was taken for the journal. PS they are still trying to get me to get an animal for them!

J.T.

Starting to skip naps and falling asleep in the high chair around 5:30 while finishing dinner.
This means he is waking up early between 1 and 5 am = not happy mom!
Crazy sisters fixing up his car
Guess he didn't like that book!
Just like my Grandma's house we would sit on the heater and enjoy the warm air in the winter months. Around here the favorite on is in the eating area, first one up runs to it and is the winner! This morning JT had no problem staking out his place since he was up at 4 am!

Valentine's Day

What did I start? Years ago I had a bath for Andrew ready for him when he got home from work on V day with candles, chocolate dip strawberries, and martinelli's. He said that he really doesn't like baths and said to put Haleigh and Hannah in it. So from that year on the girls think it is tradition. This year Haleigh decided she was too old and JT joined in. They have so much fun. I woke up extra early for my run and then made some heart  pancakes the kids loved them. Andrew and I are going out to dinner tonight. (WE also went Friday and Saturday) It is wonderful having a babysitter! PS Had some great pictures of the kids in the bath but JT would jump up everytime and show some stuff that I couldn't post!:)

Our genius!

Straight A's for her 1st semester of middle school! Maybe you did this also, but I know I sure didn't! Haleigh was also named Marauder of the week! They pick one student from each grade each week, at the end of the year the students who are picked get to go to Marine World ( which I am sure we have to pay for). We are so proud of her and her example that she is to her friends and most importantly to her siblings! She also made it on a new club soccer team, which she made sure the coach knew in advance that she dosen't play on sundays. WAY TO GO!!!

Breaking the bank for the Tooth Fairy!

I know we are getting ready for our trip back east but really is this the way Alex thinks she has to earn money?!?!? She could just help out around the house a little more!

Hannah

This is why we love California, look at this beautiful day in February!
Hannah is learning to play the viola.
We went over to the Oakland Temple today to take pitcures of Hannah for her baptism. She is so excited to be baptized!  She is so excited about her cake that Grandma Sharon is making for her special day because it will have a pitcure of her on it!
